ABOUT HKASA

The Hong Kong Airsoft Shooting Association is a non-profit founded by Mr. Chau Ka-Wang in 1996, aimed at promoting safe, competitive (airsoft) shooting. It is Hong Kong’s first IPSC Action Air club to provide training programs that educate and promote the sport to the public, its values, and its enjoyment. Many active IPSC clubs in Hong Kong are established by former members of our association.

WHAT IS IPSC?

IPSC stands for “International Practical Shooting Confederation,” founded in the US by Mr. Jeff Cooper in 1976. Intended to determine a person’s ability to control a pistol in self-defence scenarios while promoting values of accuracy, power, and speed in the safe use of a firearm; hence its motto “Diligentia, Vis, Celeritas.  It gradually departed from its roots of practical training to becoming a sport; to date, it has an established presence in more than 100 regions worldwide.
