People usually associate Airsoft shooting with Wargame, a team game in simulated war scenarios with an emphasis on effective communication and coordination between teammates to complete an objective such as capturing the enemy flag or camp. IPSC is different where emphasis in safety, discipline, speed and accuracy is deeply rooted within its core values. Primarily using pistols only, with the goal of completing each course within fastest time and with pinpoint precision, referees and scorekeepers are required on-site to assist. To date, the most popular form of individual shooting sport is IPSC.

3-Gun is a type of Dynamic Shooting Sport originating from the US that uses three different types of firearms during the course, including pistols, rifles, and shotguns. Matches generally involve courses where the shooter must move through different stages and engage targets in a variety of different positions. The shooter will be tested on their speed, accuracy, and skill in handling each firearm. Our club is the first to introduce 3-Gun into the Asia, and the world's first to promote Airsoft adoption to the 3-Gun sport.

Under the Firearms and Ammunition Ordinance (Cap. 238), if the (airsoft) gun’s muzzle energy is below 2 joules, it is considered a “toy”; Above 2 joules would be considered “arms”, which will require a license to possess. Currently, 6mm BB airsoft guns available on the market are below 2 joules. Airsoft pistols are approximately 0.6-1 joules. Airsoft rifles are approximately 1-1.2 joules. The above examples do not require a license.

Generally no, so long as the (airsoft) gun’s muzzle energy is below 2 joules (Re Q.3) and NOT brandished in public as it is illegal to do so under S.13 Firearms and Ammunition Ordinance (Cap. 238).
